Photography studio
Lumora was born in 1945,
a vision brought to life by master photographer Charles Dupont. With a passion for storytelling through images, Charles opened the studio in a modest space, capturing the resilience and hope of a post-war generation.
Legacy Through Lens,
Charles Dupont laid the foundation for what Lumora is today, setting a standard of craftsmanship that has guided us for nearly 80 years. In the 1970s, his daughter, Isabelle Dupont, took the reins, infusing the studio with fresh energy and expanding its creative direction. Today, the studio is led by a dynamic team of photographers and creatives who carry forward the Dupont legacy with modern flair.
From Rue to Rise,
Lumora began in a cozy Paris studio on Rue St. Honoré, where Charles Dupont captured timeless portraits with natural light. As its reputation grew, the studio expanded in the 1980s to a sleek, modern space in New York City, embracing cutting-edge technology and a global audience. Today, the Paris studio honors its origins, while the New York location drives its innovative future—a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.
